STORY

After six seasons of coaching in Broward County and years of wanting to get back to my roots of written word, I founded The Crib South Florida. I saw how the media was for Miami-Dade and Broward sports. So many kids who deserved spotlight hid in the dark, kids praised because of rankings by national media, teams promoted because of bias or past success. I wanted to attempt to change some of those flaws in High School Football media coverage. My goal is to reach the area through genuine truth, unbiased evaluation, and coverage that our kids deserve. This site is the source for people with open minds, fans who thirst for discussion, parents who crave attention for their deserving student athlete, and the prospect who wants real rankings and analysis.

As someone who has been behind the scenes of the top programs to the bottom of the standings, who has coached 4 stars to teams full of guys under the radar, I strive to deliver content with as much genuineness and exertion as when I coached.
